BROWN GIRLS in the Classroom

BROWN GIRLS has been taught in undergraduate programs, graduate programs, and writing workshops across the U.S., including Columbia University, the University of Southern California, The School of the New York Times, Catapult, Grub Street, and more. It has been selected as a text in classes led by authors Nicole Dennis-Benn, Sequoia Nagamatsu, Frances Cha, as well as other authors and scholars. In 2022, Brown Girls was chosen as CUNY Baruch College’s First-Year text for incoming students.
